We follow the journey of a man who appears homeless as he wonders the street of a scarcely populated neighbourhood searching for someone or something that is depicted in a photograph. Just as his faith in society has driven him to despair he meets a little girl whose innocence sees what others couldn't.
When writing the film in 2005, I was travelling to and from work daily on a train and in my travels I observed a lot of people and their behaviours. I realised society had become unfriendly and ignorant. I really wanted "POAS" to provoke thoughts and emotion while taking its audience on a 4 minute journey about faith and I think I managed to do this successfully.
Although it has been a finalist in several festivals the festivals in which it won an award are - Winner of the Thirdtake "Fourth Take" Award 2006, 3rd place in the Hawskebury film festival 2006, Filmmaka People's Choice Award 2007, Best Sound Composition Flake Film Festival 2008, Campfire Special Mention Award 2009,
