Boone County was hit by an EF3 Tornado.
Here is a video of the tornado, and damage.

Where to start? 1st of all I live in Rockford, and I couldnt believe it was in the 60's that day; which was nice concidering... 2nd January 7th is the day before my birthday, and I didnt know anything about the tornado until I was watching WREX 13 news at 5.

I was there when that was happening i was at school and it started to rain hard and then hail started to fall i was scared it was going to hit my house and our school did not do any thing plus i feel bad that the apple orchard got destroyed it got a direct hit

iam so sorry for all the people that this tornado effected my only remebrance of a tornado that i saw up close was when i was only 5 years old i was at a restraunt and the widows broke and there was no place to go i wish the best to you all
