This is a film, made in 1999, about an educational Corporate Social Responsibility project started two years beforehand by Alex Willcock, the then Buying and Marketing Director of Conran Holdings Limited in the UK.

The film describes what at the time was a unique project to bring together the resources and funds of the retail organisation, the local suppliers and the local community to create local and sustainable educational establishments (schools) that encourage children out of work and into education. The film encourages buyers and other executives from retail organisations to join forces with the Conran Group to spread the model across India and beyond. Directed by Jeremy Webb

This extraordinary project was made possible by the tireless work of Fiona Natarajan.
