First we see some trespasser spotters taking no notice of the 'passengers must not pass this point' line - is it because they are enthusiasts not passengers??

One guy leaves two tripods right at the edge of the platform ramp with trains passing at speed, others walk on by the track on a mound, no high-viz or anything. The guy in white was instructing someone to stand out the way and telling him where to stand, this pissed me off no end, I hate those people telling others what to do!

Then we see A1 class 60163 'Tornado' on the 1Z95 Waterloo - Waterloo via Andover, Dean, Southampton, Eastleigh, Winchester, Basingstoke, Waterloo.

  • DAMN. how fast is that thing going? geeze. is that a super train or something?

  • @Discokid715

haha! Yes it looks fast probably as I am on the same side of it, IIRC it has a max speed of 75mph (and hoped to be 100 in the future) so is probably doing 70-75mph

Yeah true, maybe I was just being picky at the time! LOL I withdraw my comment as I have heard of far worst incidents, such as the one in the news who nearly got slammed by a 170, and another who stood in the four foot (I think) waiting for tornado on the ECML and bought a GC HST to a stand!

  • One of these days some trainspotter will be hit like a bug.

  • lol how are they tresspassing? They are on the ramp not on the track. Who gives a shit anyway?

  • hahaha, Now that u mention it, yes they do! lol. Nice shot by the way james. I aint really got issues with people getting up close to the trains. So long as you have a sturdy footing on the platform a train isnt gonna knock you for 6. Ive done plenty of filming of HSTs close up doing 125mph with no issues. The worlds gone health and safety mad!

  • what the hell? i mean the train spotting great! but the people looked like from a model railway! lol

  • My ears still ringin xD!

  • Well quite frankly James they're not all there! Thanks for posting.
