A Big Shunt on The Gwili Railway January 2012

In order to access two Ex GWR vintage coach bodies currently stored on the Carmarthen extension South of Bronwydd Arms, a large shunt of stock was required utilising the Railways visiting Class 14 14901. Conditions were damp and the little used track along this section was very slippery. The expertise of the staff to complete these difficult moves on steep gradients hauling old and unrestored vehicles was tested to the full. The whole operation being completed by the end of the day.
