  • @Haagendal15 Excuse me? Did you not hear her give the directions and Egypt Air repeated them back; but then missed the turnoff? It's because of the visual ATC (looking out the window) that another Teneriffe didn't happen!

  • the ATC's comment was neither rude nor reckless. Given that many people almost died, the ATC could probably be excused for a minor "venting" moment. Knowhatimean?

  • As a pilot, and travelling through many taxiways, it isnt as easy as everyone makes out. During taxi you are doing the check lists, you are looking out of your windows and you are preparing for your take off. On top of that you are in a long line of other aircraft and comms. Yes they didnt hold in Egypy Air which is bad. But you dont realise how easy it is to miss read the taxiway signs. Was there any sun glare? was there any rain? was there anything to hinder? i am not saying they aren't wrong.

  • Wtf. it doesn't even sound like dude

  • The ATC's NY accent is superb!

  • Have never heard the words 'it is' sound the same as 'dude'.

  • @Haagendal15 so you have seen the process but you don't hold a CTO? i hold 2 CTOs and i can tell you that before you condemn the controller listen to the tapes in the cab. see if GC noticed and told LC or if it was FD or maybe WS. see what really happened in the cab. see you have never worked in a tower so how can you speak towards knowing they where the ones who did something wrong?

  • @0dessa87 yes, i know a lot of pilot and atc controllers i have been there, and seen the whole process

  • @Haagendal15 really? are you a controller? can you speak about how ATC operates?

  • It´s the ATC fault ´they just dont do their work 100 % this will never happen if the ATC where more active
