Copper Peak Ski Flying Hill, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, is 1,500 feet above sea level and 300 feet above the surrounding terrain. On a clear day, one can see beyond the shores of Lake Superior to Minnesota. Even on a non-clear day, the view includes large portions of Wisconsin as well as Michigan. This video was made July 27, 2007.

so me and my two sisters, and my wife all climbed the side of the mountain at copper peak 2 springs ago before they open for the summer season..we hiked all the way to the top, when we got to the top we were rushed by a crazy lady named betty screaming and yelling at us said she was going to call the cops on us for trespassing unless we payed her 100$..she is still one of the main managers at this hill.I will necver go back to this place again there are no signs saying you cant walk up it..

Super video! It`s the highest and hugest artifical slide in the world. It looks amazing, built in the seventies. Nowadays it`s not used for ski jumping, but they work to reopen it and enlarge the landing slope.Hope they will get the certificate by the FIS. I`m a ski jumping fan from germany. I`d like to see this big jump originaly, but it`s to far away. Thanks for your video.Greatings from germany
