This Multi Award Winning Documentary is one of the last Wars for independence, it smuggles us into the world of this besieged people. Cut off from all humanitarian aid and invisible to Western media, their only resource is their resolve to fight for independence in an attempt to preserve their culture and environment.

This is the only documentary of the longest war in the South Pacific. A war which killed 20 000 people just two hours from Australia.

@swinewarrior Well. I guess thats fair enough since it is their island and all. If they want to capitalize on their natural surroundings like most humans on this earth. They should. Not only was it theirs to begin with, they manged to keep it in the face of overwhelming force. Billions of good Australian dollars worth of gear, could do nothing about the ingenuity of these folks. It's food for thought for all of us.

the guys used fire arrows spears and rocks from the cliff above our camp

had to walk about at night with a table over our heads

they leaned quick-time to use the old 2nd war arms dumps

I've already seen this Doc, to bad more people haven't these people are real warriors against extreme odds and they are still over coming God bless the Bougainvillians. I hope they one they soon win their independence
