A spokesman for EnCana Corp. (NYSE:ECA), Doug Hock, said that government tests on 17 private water wells in Pavillion, Wyoming showed low levels of petroleum hydrocarbons, and inorganic substances that naturally occur, according to a Reuters report, which helped to prove that the company was not at fault for contamination detected by U.S. regulators.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency report from August found a "drinking water concern" on the basis of hydrocarbons and other chemicals that were found in wells that were tested in January. In response to the results, the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry recommended that affected residents find alternative sources of water for drinking and cooking.

Right, now the lawyers offer a settlement and a non-disclosure agreement is signed. The fracking zombies can continue telling us it is safe.
