Should be faster and more intuitive like a real book. Then it'd be more worth the switch from convenional books.

If you have a pdf without pictures the reader does a great job (IMHO) of sizing it on the screen to make it readable all the way through.
If you have pictures in the PDF that you want to look at then you can use a pan and zoom function that works pretty well I think. Its not perfect but its pretty darn good. Do a search for some videos and I'm sure you'll find some examples
