There's not really a problem with it, its just the competition is a lot better. The Camaro will be the better performer and probably the more comfortable cruiser. The new 370Z looks very potent, and of course there's the new Evo and STi hanging around for $30K. Again, there's nothing really wrong with the Mustang itself, its just why would you buy a Mustang over the other performance coupes?

also the z06 is a sport car the mustang doesnt have to answer anything to the z06 and the zr1 well thats a supercar i do agree that for the power it should be faster

i said the mustang wont be far behind , i didnt say it would be faster , but for price the mustang is the best deal no doubt, and the gt wont do 0 to 60 in 4.6 but but it does it around 5.5 secs , not bad for AT ALL when its under powered by like 100hp, as for the ls7 , thats just a new concept, if it actually happens ford will alredy have something under its sleve, since the super snake is no concept, its a car that alredy comes whit 720hp. a punch rite on the nuts for that ls7 concept

I think that Shelby GT500 is better than Camaro and Challenger because, its more powerful but with less fuel consumption an CC. Mechanicaly, is more advanced.
While Camaro and Challenger are designed because of the new wave of retro design, Ford is showing a new version of these, so... Ford is the true own of Pony Car, since the first Mustang, to this new.
And, when Camaro was showed, the interior was awesome but in production... it's only cheap plastic. Mustang RULES in everything!!!
