I love border collies because they are so smart they think "I need to more slow and keep this here on my nose (or head or butt)" when almost all dogs just think this thing is there if she wants you to more, move and we'll go from there even tho it'll probably fall off my head

You should teach your rat some tricks too. By the way, what's his/her name?

@ClickerPets Her name is Paris. I have been clicker training her as well, and she is such a blast to work with. :)

OH WOW .. my Papillon is a littel bit "Head shy" ... do you think working on such tricks with clicker training would myke it better ... day by day ??

@PapillonHoney You can work on helping him overcome his fear by only balancing small objects his head that he is comfortable with, and very gradually working your way up from there. If your dog shows any sign that he is afraid, remove the object immediately, then go back a step to when he was previously successful. Building confidence takes time; never rush the dog. I wouldn't recommend doing these tricks with your dog to start with if he is not comfortable with it. :)
