Thanks to my wife and an early Christmas present of 2009, W2J has a mascot. It's name is Moganko and it's here to help me teach people-especially kids-about living with Cystic Fibrosis. Moganko is also here just to be silly too. ;-) He IS a puppet after all. ;-) Enjoy the ridiculous theme song...Ooom ba ba ooom ba bow.... ;-)

This video was created for the CF Community as a part of the "Moganko For Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Project" - a grass roots campaign to get Moganko the puppet on the MuppetStudios YouTube Channel so he can meet the Muppets and create a public service announcement about cystic fibrosis.

Hi my name is Josh. I have cystic fibrosis.

Together with my buddy Moganko we make silly videos that teach people with cystic fibrosis the importance of taking care of themselves every day so they can stay healthy.

What's Cystic Fibrosis?

Cystic fibrosis a genetic disease that causes the body to create a thick and sticky mucus that covers the lungs, pancreas and all other organs.

This causes:

• frequent lung infections

• problems digesting food

• a whole bunch of other crummy stuff!

We work really hard to take care of ourselves by doing respiratory therapy and taking lots of medicine, but we still end up in the hospital for weeks and sometimes months at a time.

Creating these videos gave me a great idea! I want Moganko to meet The Muppets and create a public service announcement about cystic fibrosis. I know the Muppets could help promote our cause by reach out to people all over the world I'm not the only one who thinks this is a great idea.

The CF Community believes in Moganko too! There are over 70,000 people worldwide with cystic fibrosis and we need all the help we can get to improve our quality of life. Despite the fact that the median age of a person with CF is only the mid-thirties, we're a positive community full of admirable qualities and the fortitude to achieve our goals no matter what stands in our way. You see, we're just like you; we do the best we can with what we're given every day and we have the support of our loved ones through it all. We just need a little extra help to turn our dreams into reality. And that is where you fine people visiting this website come in...

• A campaign like this got Betty White to host Saturday Night Live!

• Cookie Monster started a Fanpage to host Saturday Night Live and had 100,000 fans and eventually lead him to be in an opening monologue with Jeff Bridges!
