The Doctor Who Prom is on 27 July 2008.
BBC News Arts Correspondent David Sillito with Nigel Kennedy and his version of the Doctor Who theme tune. Doctor Who is to feature in this year's Proms alongside Nigel Kennedy who returns to the Proms for the first time in 21 years, to perform Elgar's violin concerto and a Late Night Jazz Prom.

i didn't like it, too strident. this is why people say they don't like the violin. should have put it in a lower key to start off and done double stops to replicate the rythym instead of playing along to the loop track. sorry nigel, me laddie.
