Test firing of the Colt/Umarex M4 dedicated .22 carbine.

Functions flawlessly with Federal and Blazer ammunition, we have had a lot of feed problems with Remington ammunition.

Its a very affordable rifle. We paid about $550 for the rifle, which is about what people are charging for 1,000 rounds of .223 these days. .22 is still cheap enough that we can shoot this gun until we're tired of shooting, not just until we run out of ammunition.

As always, feel free to comment, rate, and email in questions. Thanks for watching!

  • Dose it shoot full auto

  • @benlomondairsoftteam No, semi auto only. Its only $500, and the only ammo it malfunctions with for me is Remington.

  • Ummmm no bolt release? Or do you just like to pull the charging handle after every reload?

  • @SGMagpul No bolt release. There is one, but its completely cosmetic.

  • @tonky10 i got one to hunt small game at home. i wouldnt want to stake my life on it in a zombie attack, its to small,BUT this sum bitch is spot on accurate. everytime i take it to the range and share it with other shooters, regardless of ability, they put rounds in the bullseye. accurate but not very powerfull is your dilema. if zombies were a problem id go for the groin/gut,knees, and the lights out head shot. dont forget the double tap rule. personally id keep it and add a shotgun.

  • @Wontonwabledoo if your barrel is stamped 5.56 it can take both 5.56 or .223 if your barrel is stamped .223 i would not put 5.56 through it!

  • how much does it cost??

  • Nice guns. My friend in NY loves them, but their gun laws are so tough, it's not even worth getting one, since you can never carry a gun outside. That's really something. Only in NY can you own a gun, but you cannot take it outside your house LOL.

  • @GeekTechMac1 Yeah, if you shoot say 1000 rounds of .22's you're going to pay 50 dollars. 1000 rounds of 5.56 is going to put a hole in around 500 bucks, as much as the .22 rifle itself. That's why they're popular.

  • nice shooting! after being in the Marines and using an M16/M4 shooting 5.56 what makes people want to but the .22 M4's? Just curious why these are very popular... is it because they are cheaper for both the rifle and ammo?

  • I have a Colt M16a1 (AR-15) and it uses a .223 magazine and round, but on the receiver and barrel it says 5.56. Why?

  • I just bought this gun but I keep reading that it is not a good self defence gun. Can any one please help me.
