This is the surviving stoat orphan I am handrearing. He has been with me now for one week. I incorrectly estimated his age as being in his second week when he was brought to me, but further research has brought to light a kitten development chart, so he is actually about 5-6 weeks here, apologies for the wrong information given in the vid.
He weighed 22g when I brought him home and tonight he's weighing in at 44g, so his weight gain is improving daily and he is weaning great. At the moment he is eating mouse and ox heart and still drinking loads of milk!
OMG SO ADORABLE!!!!!!! Mustelids are the best!

@SwumpTheRump We have the same identical species(Mustela erminea) here in the U.S.A. We call it Ermine/Short-tailed weasel. It is midway in size between our Larger Long-tailed weasel(Mustela frenata) and the smaller Least weasel(Mustela nivalis) which is also found in England(Eurasia) which is called Common Weasel.
