David Tandy sings Miracle of Miracles as Motel Kamzoil from the hit Broadway Musical; Fiddler On The Roof. This performance was at the Independence Park Theatre located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This was filmed on the last performance date, and if you listen closely you can hear David messup a line, it will be the part that doesn't ryhme: "...is the one I thought could never be... God has made a man today!" -enjoy!

  • Great acting! But i know I'm not the only one who thought that he doesn't sound to good. To me it sounded like he talked the whole song, and it was flat. but everything else was nice especially the set.

  • When I played this part, I actually DID fall in love with the woman playing my wife. :-)

    (and vise versa). Good memories...

  • @thatbroadwayguy I'm Tzeitel in mine!

  • I got to be in this show as a little nine year old. My part was "Children of Anetevka" and I loved it! It ignited my joy for acting once and for all. This was definitely one of my favorite scenes.

  • @lilmike44118 The video video sound quality was flat it did not sound like that.

  • Well, in my mind nothing can compare to the original movie, but you two did good. Really good for being on stage and not in the woods :p I love this song.

  • I'm also playing motel right now and although it's a hard fast song I felt like this guy shouted it way to much

  • I'm playing Motel in a production now :) great job! good reference thanks :)

  • @ben2584292 - I'm guessing you've never listened to any Broadway cast recordings where actors take liberties with notes. It's nothing new. As for singing the whole song too high...what are you talking about? I sang it in the original key which is higher than the key used in the movie. The only notes I changed were the last two. If you have any more comments about my performance, leave them on MY video please..but first educate yourself a little. Thanks.

  • @EvanOz85 You sang the whole song too high. there are parts that should be higher. and usually the lyricist and the composer have a reason for everything they do. Things like that should not be changed.

  • @AdamKristiansson It's horrendously difficult - that's why.

  • Nice performance :).

This song is an absolute monster - almost no space to breathe, pacey as anything and tricky lyrics to remember.
