Susette Kelo's legal battle with New London, Conn. brought about one of the most controversial and troubling Supreme Court rulings in many many years. But her fight also spurred a backlash among property owners and state legislatures. Susette Kelo now lives in a town across the river from New London.

This happened right near my house.

Nuebert Purser a decorated WWII veteran, had his 78 acre farm taken from him by force by Lee Myers the mayor of Matthews, NC. This is a violation of fundamental rights.

The crux of the issue is that which has absorbed more of my time on YouTube than any other topic

    "Right" or "Law" !

Right is that which we are born with!

Every dog and squirrel knows his rights.

The most basic mammal function is to fight for ones basic rights!

Law is that which State tells us we must conform to.

Law is not based on Rights. Law is based on force, therefore Rights are inherent and Laws are imposed!

Now pour a cup of coffee and think about that for a minute!

Pfizer created this situation, so when the courts ruled that she needed to give this up, they can say, “bad government”. Pfizer funds CATO and sits on the board of ALEC. I don't hear “bad Pfizer”. Pfizer pretends to be Libertarian, but a true Libertarian would never push gov to take land. This type of “Libertarian” takes advantage of economic downturns, in order to appoint managers over representatives, claiming insolvency, for the purpose of buying up all things public. Just look at MI.

A line must be drawn some wheres within our legal system... the Government democracy to "protect" the people is doing just the opposite... America should be better than this...

Yes billion dollar corporations can take your property, because they have the money and label it as economic growth. Did Pharmacia really need this property? Wasn't there a another lot for sale for their science lab?
