Skateboarding with professionals

This stunt gone slightly bad (no one got hurt) was on a low budget film I worked on a few years ago. The movie was called "American Crime" and occasionally I see it playing on cable. I think that the production didn't want to rent a bunch of stunt pads from the stunt man because of cost and because the stunt was a bit more intense than they originally thought. But after this test they went ahead and rented them. When you hear a guy laughing really hard it is because the skateboarding kid has just said, "I don't think I want to do this any more."
