Meanwhile I got my own Stag. please see Video from Solitude Revival.
But it cost my great deal more. And mine has got wirewheels, which look a treat but are awful to maintain.
I wish I had the ones on HH-CC. I hope the original owner is allright now and did find the Automatic that he was looking after.
All the best from Munich

The Stag could have been such a world beating car if they'd got the engine right at the start. It was a concept the whole world wanted at exactly the right time and they blew it by bolting two dolomite blocks together with angled head-bolts. Such a waste of a great design. Why didn't they just use the rover v8 while they built a new v8 with the proceeds? Damn shame, great car.

Triumph really uglyed up the door and windows on this thing, could it be more awkward looking?

You have titled it as a 1974 which should be a MK2, i believe?
You have a MK1 hood on it...........did that just fit with no modifications?
your just upset you dont own a stag so just keep your jellousy to yourself by the way thats a nice car mate ive got a 73 which im in the process of removing a rover v8 from to put proper stag power back in.like the wheels
