Huge convoy travels from London to Gaza, laden with aid

The largest convoy to travel through North Africa since the Second World War left London on 14th Feb 2009. Its headed for the besieged Gaza Strip. Over a hundred vehicles carrying £1m worth of medicine, clothes and gifts for children will endure a 5000 mile trek. This historic event of course follows the successful journey made by aid boats to Gaza in the summer of 2008.

The British media have completely ignored this interesting news. I saw a piece in the French and Spanish news, but as usual not the UK
