  • LOOK AT THE FUCKING CONTEXT, PEOPLE! FORGET NAZI GERMANY! NAZIS ARENT THE ISSUE--COERCED STERILIZATION IS. That is EXTREMELY fucked up! EXTREMELY.

  • Wow! Way to go Senator Milkulski. I'm glad there are atleast some people in the senate who can see this anti-abortion language Sen Nelson is proposing is nothing short of discrimination.

  • So eliminate the geographical restrictions on insurance companies, this provide competition and reduce costs while improving service. These laws protect bad insurance companies from the free market.

Public options don't stay "options" for long, and they never pay for themselves. There is nothing that government does better or more efficiently than private enterprise. But it can use guns to enfore its rules.

You don't solve the problem of too much government with... more government.

  • @mpc91 I had to go back and rewatch what I commented on 11 months ago ;)

I'm pretty sure if you ask "progressives" if they support "eugenics" they'd say something between no and hell no. Not sure your reasoning on that. I guess I could pick some repugnant thing and call it "conservative" and that wouldn't be valid either.

Also, a lot of the women she's talking about are in places where there may only be one insurance company. The public option (note "option") would have given 2.choices.

  • @GretchenDawntreader - There is a vast difference between a private company telling you they won't cover you unless you get sterilized and the government telling you the same thing. If a government does it, it's eugenics (which is a "progressive" tenet), but a private company cannot force you to do so with force. Government can. If the private insurer won't cover you, go find another company that will.

  • The health care you get is only as good as what you pay for. Government can not promise us perfect health care. But they can promise to take away our options. The woman used in her argument may have been told this by her "health care provider" but how much more scarey would it be if she was told something similar by "the government."

  • Hey look, another factually incorrect arguement. Coerced sterilization is when they -force- you to, not when they say, 'Well if you'd like to sign here'. This party wants to coerce us into signing! An appeal to emotion rather than reason from yet another Democrat. I wonder how many of these I can find.

  • the most freakish senator

  • Nope, you're wrong. And dude, I don't even know who the fuck you are. Or what the fuck you're talking about. Sorry, but you're not important enough for me to remember. All I know is that you're someone who can't spell for shit. The rest I don't even care about.

  • Spelled and spelt are interchangeable! Both are right, only you are wrong here. So I did not prove you're stupid point. This is the third time now you have proven me right. Petty little pricks like you, point out spelling errors because you know I am right and you are wrong.

  • Spelled. You spelled a word wrong. Not spelt. See, you're not even on topic yourself. You're more eager to defend your crappy grammar, because you know it reflects your intelligence and your ability to argue.

Thank you for proving my point.

  • No... even though I spelt a word wrong, you still understood what I was saying. So to point out a spelling mistake is to change the subject. The only reason a person would try to change the subject, is because they know they are wrong.

. Thank you for proving my point!
