Here's Jake showing what he learned in just four days. He still has a hard time with the cue: Down but with a little more work he'll get better. Jake had no impulse control and very poor manners when he came to me and he is a dog who will become very destructive when left unsupervised. He's is in constant movement and must chew or gnaw on something at all times so structure and lots of exercise is important.

  • For those who wonder why I have my treats visible in this video. In this case I'm doing it on purpose because one of Jake's problems is impulse control and he tended to jump up and grab anything I held in my hands so I worked specifically on teaching him to remain with paws on the floor even when there was chicken in my hands.
