@ohjubilee i live in the uk and flag burning here is also regarded as treason... not trying to criticise america, it's just very similar to the uk, we hear of freedom of speech and the wonders of democracy all the time but in reality you can only say what the government wants to hear... where's the freedom of speech in that???

@slapmyfunkybass Actually flag burning is considered an open declaration of war or treason. A true test of freedom would be to walk around with a gun and no license, to refuse to subject your child to risky modern medicine or to refuse to pay school taxes when your son is in a private school. Try these things and you will see just how tyrannical our government can be when it gets scared.
