This is my first-ever upload of a video to YouTube. I'm flying a Cessna 172N home from Ocean City, NJ, to Morristown, NJ. You'll notice some Argus avionics in the panel. This airplane used to be the Argus flight test bed. The radios are Michels, low-cost plug-and-play replacements for the KX-170. You may notice the time on the clock is a little off. Not sure why that is, maybe it's because of some repairs that were recently made. I'll have to reset it next time I fly.
The view outside is the Jersey Shore. That's Seaside Heights back behind me. This video was shot on Dec. 14, 2011. This airplane is new to my flying club. It's meant to be the low-cost option of the four airplanes we have -- and at $80 an hour for tach time, it is!
My goal with these videos is to show people what fun having a private pilot's license is. If you have any questions, fire away!
i fly the jersey shore many times. Love it.
