This holds up to 2 cords of firewood and a small storage shed in between. There are two rows of wood on each side. I used landscape timbers for a hewn log look.

  • I really like your firewood rack/shed its a really bad ass idea....... but i just had one question, the posts you put on the ground, and the wood being so close to the ground, your not worried about termites? and about how much did it cost to build?

  • @JeffPProductions Jeff, it's all pressure treated...except for the firewood obviously. If you mean termites in the firewood, I'm not worried. My firewood wood doesn't last more than 2 seasons before it's burned up anyway. Biggest expense was the cedar shake roof....maybe $500. The rest of the lumber, etc. was less than $200.

  • But....can't make everybody happy so why try.

  • Ok, so some of you don't like the music. I'm not a metal head but I like many kinds of rock and this tune really caught my ear.

  • i would have enclosed the sides from blowing rain but it looks good!

  • @jmasotto07: The sides are intentionally left open for air cicrulation around the wood so it will season.
