My son is Montessori... they sing "Roll roll roll your mat, roll it nice and tight... when you roll your mat just right, it will fit just right" To the tune of " row row your boat"

I believe this video is meant to help teach children some of the Montessori based activities-integrating fine motor skills. I think it's very useful to help a child with their fine motor skills and their every day life. Now maybe you want your kid to watch TV all day instead of doing educational actvities-but then that's you.

@Doggies2625 You do realize she is presenting it to the adults in the same manner we're supposed to be presenting it to the children. Of course it's boring for us, we've already mastered rolling mats and napkins. For a preschooler they find this very interesting and challenging.

Since this is a preliminary activity i think it would best help the child if you broke this down into minor steps more to emphasise where exactly your fingers are. It would also be helpful for you to tap each end of the mat as you are rolling it to emphasise the evenes the mat has to be fo it to be perfectly rolled
