Moosebutter is a comedy a Capella group that started in Salt Lake City, UT, and has been based for most of its existence in Provo, Utah. The quartet has performed at venues spanning the United States, with most of their shows in the Rocky Mountain region, most notably Utah and Colorado. Moosebutter entered the national scene after placing 2nd in the 2003 Harmony Sweepstakes, and has gone on to create 3 CD's: See Dee, Udder Won, and Dee's Ember. Typical attire for the group is a Moosebutter T-Shirt, a red Adidas warmup top, and red Adidas warmup pants.
Moosebutter's music included a cappella versions of parody songs ("Psyco: The Musical," parody of "Music of the Night" from Phantom of the Opera with the subject; "Harry Potter," parody of "Pretty Woman" by Roy Orbison), original comedy songs ("Uncle Earl's Hairpiece," "Rubber Monkey," "Funknog") by Tim Y. Jones (aka Mister Tim), and improvised renditions, typically comedic, of songs requested by audience members at live shows.
Moosebutter also provided music for commercial and independent media projects, including a song and appearance in the 2004 independent film "Sons of Provo," a parody cast song for the online comic "Casey and Andy," and an unreleased 2008 McAfee software viral marketing campaign.
A popular video on YouTube features four video windows synchronized together of user Corey Vidal lip-synching Moosebutter's song, "Star Wars: A Tribute to John Williams,"
Moosebutter fans are known as MooseHeads or MooseGroupies.

moosebutter is a wacky music ensemble from Provo, Utah. moosebutter croons about truth justice and the vegetable way. moosebutter loves peanut butter and igloos. moosebutter is just like a cutting-edge, hard-core hip-hop group, except moosebutter is from Utah, all white, not interested in controversy, and also doesn't perform hip-hop. Weston, however, does perform the "hip pop" when he does the splits. moosebutter likes you.

  • @talkableKirby Haha, thanks. I tend to be a bit dramatic, but I enjoy playing. Appreciate the comment though!

  • lol haha i play trombone too.. and that was way better than mostly every one in my section there either not brave enough to play by them selves so there ambuchur is wrong nd the slide positioning is badd as well or they just suck but i choose to sit at the back since the three players that are good are at front so there is no sound coming from the center of our band

  • that was a wonderful song and i thought it was nice that you did that!

  • @TheAaronradcliff Right? The trombonists in my high school band...kinda suck. Like, seriously. And half the time, they don't even play. I'm first trombone, and usually, I have to blast the sound out just to cover them, or just so people can hear the trombone part!

  • i think i just threw up in my mouth a little bit! but nice crescendo at the end and i am a trombone player by the way haha! or why else would i be watching this?!

  • i think i just threw up in my mouth a little bit! but nice crescendo at the end

  • I play trombone, and honestly, that was pretty good. Better than some of the other players in our hs band 0_o .....as Spazzybandgeek said, aside from some tuning issues, it was really good.

  • As a fellow trombone player I thought it sounded pretty good, other than some tuning issues, it was great :)

  • not bad

  • If you want to hear some HORRIBLE trombone playing than listen to someone who has had a trombone for two daysand has no idea what he's doing. Thats me for ya.

  • that wasnt bad NOT WHAT I WAS LOOKING 4
