this debate is a joke,was a waste of time for hamza n adnan .is clearly beth and jay have no knowledge of islam,they have been caught numbers of time trying to change the hadith and the quran to support their points.beth said she did her thesis in malik school of thought i wonder how could her supervisor allow her while she doesn't know the tafsir of quran and the hadith

Hamza was speaking if Islamic Law is applied, then it would solve humanity problems and he referred to golden ages in islamic history. Jay smith is referring to the bad condiitons of muslim countries today. The problem with Jay's argument is that these muslim countries are not currently applying Sharia law.

Jizya tax by the way is for non-Muslims but Muslims have to pay a parallel tax zakat (which at the time was collected from the people, it's compulsory not a choice) which the non Muslims don't have to. Plus the non Muslims don't have to fight in the wars but the Muslims have to. It's very misleading to say that non Muslims are taxed when infact the Muslims had to pay their zakat (collected compulsory)
