NASIR GEBELLI IS THE GREATEST COMPUTER PROGRAMMER OF ALL TIME!!!
While other people were making sluggish and blinky games resembling Pong, Gebelli was squeezing every last microprocessor cycle out of the Apple ][ to make it look like it was a Pentium blasting at full speed.
The things he got the Apple ][ to do was nothing short of witchcraft.

Depending on who -- if anyone -- is reading the comments here, I'm just gonna put these out there: I've been playing through Secret of Mana again on the Wii Virtual Console, and it's still a truly excellent game.
Also, many, many thanks for Doom.

@icemanpage Completely agree about subtitles... I read 100% but understand less than 20% talking english.

Even Hironobu Sakaguchi admitted that FInal Fantasy would NEVER have been made if it wasn't for Nasir Gebelli. The man is a programming god!
