So what has Hyundai done to solve the massive carbon build-up in the intake and exhaust tracts inherent to GDI engines? Not another 60,000 mile, thousand-dollar service to clean the intake tract plan, please.... This service offsets any fuel savings you'll get from any GDI engine. To date: GDI = fail.

This geed cant even pronounce Theta.

@dancur17 Yes sir but that is Volumetric Efficiency, in that matter Mazda Rotarys are the best. Honda are pretty fine cars though but Hyundai has come a long way no longer a Pony.

I'd have to disagree about most refined.
Just look at those rudimentary balance shafts. The sophisticated balance shafts are in the block, and are offset in height. They are offset because there is a little thing called connecting rods (which happen to weigh more than pistons)
I hate how this guy pronounces "theta". Isn't it suppose to sound like "theyda"? Anyways, besides the cheesy sound effects, pretty cool animation and information.

love our '11 Sonata, and nice that Hyundai gave the jobs to usa, not like gm, ford chrysler, shipping jobs to mexico or other places.
