yea the term line means follow the racing line and cut means to take a closer line inside

What does "line" mean? Does the term refer to staying on the racing line and cutting the apex (as opposed to the term i am familliar with "don't cut" which refers to keeping away from the apex because of some object in the racing line).

or some cases it can mean elevation of the road. + meaning up and - down. this depends on the driver
