On Oct. 16, 2008 the 100 year anniversary of the Doberman Pinscher in America was celebrated at the Doberman Pinscher Club of America (DPCA) National dog show in Topeka, KS. We honored the WWII war dog handlers and the 2008 Extraordinary Dobermans Service Award Winners.

  • Thank you WWII Veterans for your service and your canine partners. DPCA thank you for ALL you do on behalf of all dog owners.

  • One of the most memorable times of my life! Combining my love of the military (22yrs Army, MSG) and the Doberman Pinscher...thank you fellow DPCA members! I am grateful for having the opportunity to serve you in my capacity as one of the WWII War Dog Handlers Centennial Ambassadors. Our interviews and subsequent articles provide only a glimpse into the remarkable contributions these Marines and their 'Devil Dog' partners gave to America. "Semper Fido" to one and all!

  • Thank You WWII Veterans and Thank You DPCA for honoring these heros.
