Lucky Star OVA FanDub Audition - Anizawa Test

First off, the legal stuff. I DO NOT OWN any of the Lucky Star franchise, nor am I doing any of this for profit (unless it gets me hired somewhere, in which case, sweet! I mean..*cough* yeah, no profit). Under the fan clause, I just decided to give it a shot, and do my take on an English version of the Anizawa clip from the Lucky Star OVA. If you should take this as anything, Bandai USA, or whoever else feels the urge to flag this, take it as a means to say, "I KNOW YOU CAN DO BETTER!! SO DO IT!!" We're not trying to take your money away from you. =P We're trying to pay omage to the originals (a factor you guys and many other companies like you FAIL to do, since it's all about business and dollars, not about TRUE business and satisfying your customers and beyond). Let's face it, Lucky Star is a hit in Japan, and it SHOULD be a hit here. So why isn't it? The fans have to feel like they're watching the originals all over again, but only in a language they understand, ladies and gents. Maybe I don't hit the nail with this voice over, but I did give it my best shot. Now, I'm just one guy. YOU HAVE OVER HUNDREDS OF VOICE ACTORS/ACTRESSES TO CHOOSE FROM!! Do better!! Anyway....that's my rant to simply say I don't own this, but I'm a fan and wanted to see what it would sound like with my voice behind the character. Consider it a cover, if you will. Enough said there.

This is my shot for the Lucky Star OVA FanDub. My audition. Using Adobe Audition. Funstuff. Really. No, seriously. I had fun doing this one. Even though I'd rather do Minoru Shiraishi (which I would, too!!), I figured to give this one a shot. =D It may not be perfect, but I gave it what I could. =) I hope you all enjoy.

it really does suit the character and how he acts. the 'items and weapons' part was a little rushed, but good nonetheless.

Thanks, man. I'm not sure I'm a perfect fit for the vocal tone, but I gave it my best shot. =) Yeah...that part might have seemed a tad on the rushed side, but I had to fit in quite a few words and get them to match the mouth movements as best as I could. ^_^;

The seiyu for Anizawa? I'm not exactly sure. That would definitely be something to check into.
