After the fall of the Soviet Union, Russia fell into a state of chaos. Although it was no longer communist and was a representation of Democracy, the government did not have the trust of its people. The Law Enforcement was unreliable and corrupt. The generation gap was widened as older generations tried to take advantage of the new Democracy by opening and maintaining business, while taking advantages of the weaknesses of the government. The younger generation, neglected by their parents and their elders, became gang members, or the Russian Mafia.
It was during 1995 that an ingenious artist and musician came out with new music that was a combination of the folk songs that were patriotic in nature and lyrics, with contemporary beat and acoustics that were more suited to the tastes of the younger generation. For the first time in years, there was connection between old and young as both regained patriotism toward their country. Putin was elected in 2000 and set Russia on the path to greatness once again.

  • You guys suck! Entire world is jealous that they don't have a leader like Putin! He actually made Russia feared by others once again!

PS Its always easier to criticize someone else! Look at your leaders... they have flaws too.

communism is a very good thing if u only make it work, much better then democracy.
