@Shyyrn Thanks Shyyrn, I always thought it was maybe so the audience would sing it for him, as they do now, but in the smiths days that didn't happen so much. However I agree with you and Mozza certainly had great respect for Johnny in those days..."the draize train" appearing on "rank" proves this beyond doubt as Mozza chose the track list.

@777system777: He occasionally sings the ending (rarely, however). Back when he was part of the Smiths, he probably didn't sing so people would be able to here Johnny Marr playing that final guitar riff- a good move, in my opinion, since the riff is absolutely amazing.
