    It's already in the 2.48 version, just apply one material to your object and give it the textures (normal map, diffuse etc) and enable GLSL materials in the Game Engine menu.

  • dont bother is my guess learn modeling and texturing first because using glsl without normal maps looks crappy

  • its already there, go to your Game tab on the top of screen and select GSLS shaders
