  • Sarah's warmth, passion and humanity..coupled with her technical gifts makes her, IMO, the greatest living exponent of the violin today. Others all have their wonderful strengths and qualities..but in total...and especially in the tonal interpretation of the major works, she's the best.

  • @jhglobal1 I agree...she's not just a musician, but a wonderful human being. And that is what resonates so strongly through her music :)

  • Is she married?

  • @Archon33 No...not yet ;)

  • Technically perfect. I prefer Yitzak Perlman though; it's an old oak barrel against a new one...

  • @121ego Perlman is so wonderful! The old masters never die! :)

  • Her playing always has this "substance" that attracts your ear! I think she is actually getting better and mature, now she is in her 30's. I think her 20's was a turbulent years for her, but her "prodigy" was always present. Now she sounds better than anyone!!

  • beautiful!!!!

  • @SsteinwayS - yes, yet it has nothing to do with the technical ability to produce images in sound, with musical words we perceive with our senses and interpret with our mind. It has to do with the characteristic of being Man, a separate design that reflects image and likeness of Him in us. It's noticeable in crop circle design against Michelangelo's La Pieta. Color, form and beauty it is not in the circles. Only the cold technical side.

  • @TeKarauria Haha...Lord Menuhin is the one who called her "the most perfect violinist I've ever heard" when she was eight.

  • @sergiobantam Truly a blessing for humanity, yes!

  • An incredible Virtuoso - factor in her age and she would surpass Yehudi Menuhin
