if the data entry knob breaks does it limit the functionality of the unit? particularlly when chopping samples etc? im thinking of picking one of these up but the data wheel is broken... thnx for any info.

@AnalogInfinite Yeah you need the wheel to navigate it... Your find it very difficult to use without! Look on ebay think you can get replacements for cheap

@vegunited06 Thanks mate... It seemed a bit daunting at first but i have to say it's really easy after an hour or so of messing around! It's a joy to use, gonna have much fun with it i can tell.. May seem a silly question but is there any procedure that should be followed in shutting the thing down? Obviously make sure it's not writing to disk but it feels weird just pressing the off button? I don't want to corrupt it...
