XXoh! the group show
featuring glen allen, casebeer, sentrock, jasonrudolphpena, jenny ignaszewski
and josh Rhodes; six cutting-edge Phoenix painters whose work is known and
collected on the national and international stage. Whether it is their pallet, use of
mixed media, raw outsider art style, clean realism or just plain silly comic
style...their work complements each other in both daring and darling ways. This
is not a hodge-podge, hobby painter show. These are artists, damn good artists,
who make their living putting their hearts and minds on the wall for your delight.

THE PRINT
100 signed and numbered professional prints are to be available for $100. Profit
above cost is to be split 50/50. 50% to the artists and 50% to Free Arts of
Arizona, a well-established and respected non-profit providing therapeutic arts
programming to abused, homeless and at-risk youth. This is a balance that the
art community has strived to hit and one this show will gladly carry on as it keeps
us all moving forward. The artist's names were thrown in a hat and drawn to
create the order for this historical piece. The process, being well documented, is
remarkable. Some of the artists knew each other, they all knew of each other,
some have collaborated before but never before have they collaborated together.
It's hot. It's good. It's XXoh! the group show.
SALE
The print and all pieces in the show will be online for sale from January 28th to
February 29th at www.xxohxxoh.com and at First Studio the night of the show.
Prints and pieces ordered before February 7th will make it to your doorstep by
Valentines Day, February 14th. The artists expect the prints to be sold out well
before the doors open on the first, so get 'em while they're hot.
·note· gallery and curator take no commission and print originals as well as show
documentation are to be given to a local museum for archival of this wonderful
phoenix painters show.
