This video (in English) shows you a popular way to make Tom Yam Kung at a street cafe near my house in Bangkok Thailand. typical Ingredients (can vary): * fine red chillies * shredded Kaffir lime leaves * lime juice * Knorr food flavouring (optional) * soft brown sugar (optional to taste) * lemon grass, 3-4 stalks, outer layer removed and bruised * chopped galangal * mushrooms (straw mushrooms are popular - het faang)) * medium sized river prawns are best head and shell and all. (10) * coriander leaves * sawtooth coriander (phak chee farang) * red chili paste Simmer for 5 minutes. other possible ingredients to try: * shallots * Thai fish sauce (a few drops) * cherry tomatoes
