everything was better in the 80's-90's simply because computers had a "built-in" no retards plz. i remember a PC that took me bloody days to get a soundblaster card working (and it was supossed to be "plug and play" more or less hehe), god bless DOS and assembler and so on.. nowdays even the most stupid can run a computer... brrrrr

@tsangari Well , programmers where another breed back in those days. They did it for the fun of it. That's one of the reasons I like GNU/Linux so much. A lot of programmers take pride in writing stuff that is superior to windows not because they have to but because they enjoy beating the competition. Linus Torvalds once said "People tend to prefer what they are comfortable with even if it is a hassle - that's why companies like Microsoft really does not have to improve that much". (by memory).

@Slurfs Funny you say that, I can never remember the term "software updates" for that era. Proof that programs were written perfectly.

I still know the music from my head. First megademo from these guys was Awesome!
One of my favorite demos on the Amiga. Back in those days everything was better. The operatingsystem, the hardware, the floppys, the audio, the graphics, the code, the people, the assemblers!!... or maybe it just was because computers was mostly used only by cool people ;)
