This railway in the Blue Mountains here in New South Wales, Australia is considered a master-piece of Victorian Engineering. Built between 1866 and 1869, as part of the Western main line fron Sydney to Bathurst. This line forms a large letter "Z" in the side of the mountain. A necessary way of gaining enough height to go over these mountains, as tunneling was expensive and still in the early stages of development. Discover why this line was built and why it lay silent for almost 60 years. To learn more about this line, or to purchase this double DVD, please visit our web-site at www.sprucestudios.com
