  • the thai kids look like latinos..anyways i remember watching this with my grandmother when i was a kid:)

  • singing this in a play

  • marni nixon was the voice in the movie, is what i meant.

  • marni nixon

  • that is one huge dress.

  • People have said before that Julie should have done voice dubbings as well as musicals and films but when I watched this I smiled because you can tell who it is immediately. Her voice is distinguishable and brilliant.

  • @Blueknightex This is the original scene from the movie. But yes, it's just dubbed over with Julie Andrews' version. It is Julie Andrews' voice.

  • @ChicagoSouthDan so this isn't the original version then? As in the video? Its just dubbed over with Julie Andrew's version?

  • @JacquelineJawa And Deborah Kerr's voice is dubbed by Marni Nixon in the movie. However, this is Julie Andrews' voice but the scene with Deborah Kerr from the movie. Rather confusing. Julie Andrews did do a recording of The King and I with Ben Kingley (of Ghandi movie fame) doing the king. Perhaps it's Julie's voice from that recording.

  • This isn't Julie Andrews in the film - it's Deborah Kerr
