I usually make my own fine sugar, just the same way Alton does--because it's cheaper than buying! But I haven't had a blender for months; it's just not in my budget. Oh, I miss my blender. (sighs)

@14lanicup I use egg yolks to make ice cream in the summer. I take the saved whites and make angel food for the winter. Eggs are gooooood for all that seasonal goodness. :P
