Falling In Love-Part 1

"Is she ok? What happened? Will she be alright!?" I heard someone ask desperately.

"M'am, she has just a couple of bruises, no major injuries..."

"But??" The lady asked.

"She was hit by a truck..."

"NO!" I heard the person shriek in pain. She knew what was coming next.

"Your daughter is in a coma." The doctor declared.

*A week later*

"Sel please wake up" I heard someone sniff.

My eyes fluttered, then first thing I saw were white walls. In alarm, I sat up quickly thought, 'Where am I?'.

I looked over to my left and someone was holding my hand. A boy with brown, shaggy hair and blue eyes. I jerked my hand away. Why was he touching me??

"Who are you?" I demanded.

"Sel...it's me...Aaron." The boy said, I raised my eyebrow.

"Where am I, what happened?" I asked.

"You are at the hospital because you got hit by a truck...don't you remember?" Aaron said, I shook my head...I don't remember anything.

Later, two people came in, of course I know who they were.

"Mom, Dad!" I said with joy.

"Oh Sel!" My mom said running towards me, embracing me in a hug, I flinched a bit. Once she pulled away I examined my body. There were black and brown bruises.

"Great to see you are alright, bud." My dad said embracing me in a hug too. I pulled away with a grin. But then I frowned.

"What's wrong?" My mom and dad asked worried in unison.

"I-I can't remember what happened." I said softly, showing them the bruises on my arms.

"This boy said I got hit by a truck!" I told them, pointing my finger to Aaron.

"That boy is your best friend Aaron, honey." My mom said softly grabbing for my hand. I looked over to the boy called Aaron, he nodded.

"She doesn't remember me Mr. and Mrs. Gomez." Aaron said sadly.

"I'm going to look for the doctor." My dad chirped in, then walking out the door.

"Yeah, and I gotta go" Aaron said, while putting on his jacket. "Hope you feel better Sel."

That was the last thing he said before walking out the door.

I didn't respond...he was still just a stranger to me.

I don't remember anything but my parents.
