a good example was the goddess Bridget. Irish pagans wouldn't give her up during the great conversion so in a way of compromise they made her St Bridget. And misinformed patriarchy is all around not just in religion but in politics as well.

there is no room for intolerance within Paganism or Wicca or Witchcraft. These paths are supposed to be personal and unique to each individual's expression and choice. We all have the right to choose the Gods we want to worship and/or honor. Again You have spoken what is right and true. Thank you for doing so , and doing it so eloquently, may you be blessed.
