For the tiny amount you are using and the short time it is applied there is no worry. Once the rubber cement has dried after about thirty to sixty seconds you aren't even aware that it is there.

Not tape but you're close, there are two things you can use, Elmers glue stick or rubber cement. Experiment with both and see which one works best for you

i heard that u use glue w/ it but u said u juss use string but if u actually "saw" then its not a trick and it prob could cause major damage. so how do u REALLY do this trick? i wanna show my teachers and others

its not rubber cement its spirit gum. the clear scar stuff from haloween or costume shops,.it sticks to itself like tree sap!!
