Greg Sarris is is an important literary voice exploring American Indian life. Greg Sarris wrote the short story collection Grand Avenue which became a Robert Redford-produced HBO teleplay. He'll read from his recent novel Watermelon Nights, in which he illuminates the fragile ties that bind families in their struggles for freedom and dignity.
