what is the other kind of gutter run his father mention??? i don't see any difference

@jieyang9496 The timing for entering the gutter is different. Basically the 1st technique is for entry (the technique he uses all the time and the 2nd technique is for exit (which his father is talking about).

@jieyang9496 No he can't use both in the same turn since the two techniques have different timings when he drops his tires into the gutter.

@jieyang9496 he cant use both at the same time because they are mutually exclusive. To drop the tires into the gutter for entry purposes and make it "useful" he needs to be on the verge of understeering when he enters the turn, the gutter then "gives him more bite" to turn into the corner fast but he will reach a limit where he cant accelerate anymore. The exit gutter technique, means sacrificing some speed early on ..and inching toward the gutter near the exit so when he "drops in" ...

@jieyang9496 Lets say the earlier u get onto the throttle in the corner, the faster you exit it = common sense more time on the gas the faster you go. but there is a limit to throttle input in a corner = too much throttle in the corner you'll spin out or over-speed and crash XD. but with the 2nd technique gutter run Takumi gets extra grip in the apex (mid point of the corner) so he can step harder on the throttle and earlier than usual so he launches the 86 out of the corner faster! :D
